URD SUBDIVISION ELECTRICAL RETICULATION
Edmondson Park, Ardennes Ave– Endeavour
This project involved establishing power to a 16 lot subdivision in Edmondson Park.
To complete these works, we excavated road crossings and 160m of shared trench with power, NBN and gas. We established new pillars and reconfigured existing pillars.
As well as the installation of new street lighting including the upgrade of existing streetlights
ESTABLISH TWO POLE TOP SUBSTATIONS
Kurnell, Captain Cook Drive – Endeavour
This project involved pole installation and the stringing of new HV mains.
We installed and commissioned 2 new 400kVA pole top substations and recovered the existing substation and returned it to Ausgrid
INSTALLATION OF TWIN CHAMBER SUBSTATION
Darlinghurst, Craigend Street – Ausgrid
This project involved the installation of an indoor twin chamber substation in the basement of the new BMW Australia Head Quarters.
To supply these chamber substations we had to trench across McLachlan Ave, install a low voltage pillar and perform high voltage and low voltage straight through joints.
UPGRADE OF A POLE SUBSTATION
Blayney, Hills Lane – Essential Energy
This project involved upgrading a pole substation from 63kVA to 100kVA in Blayney, Central NSW.
To complete these works, we were required to remove the existing pole and install a new pole, construct a pole top substation and install on the new pole. In doing this, we were required to upgrade the earthing to meet new Essential Energy construction standards.
INSTALLATION OF A NEW UNDERGROUND LOW VOLTAGE FEEDER
Sanctuary Point, Waratah Crescent – Endeavour Energy
This project involved installing a new underground low voltage feeder to increase the electrical supply to a telecommunications tower.
We were required to upgrade a pole top transformer from 160kVA to a 315kVA. To meet the supply requirements of the tower, we completed a 200m trench in Waratah Crescent, which required underboring of driveways and installed a UGOH, cable and pillar.
ASSET RELOCATION OF 11KV AND LOW VOLTAGE OVERHEAD MAINS
Freshwater, Wyndora Avenue – Ausgrid
This project involved relocating Overhead High Voltage (11kV) and Low Voltage Mains along a narrow pathway between Wyndora Avenue and Beach Street, Freshwater.
The mains were to be relocated into an underground trench. We carried out the full scope of the works, including the civil works, cable jointing, and overhead linework which resulted in putting overhead powerlines underground. We completed temporary restoration of the footpath area.
ASSET RELOCATION OF 132KV FEEDER
Oran Park, Catherine Park Estate – Endeavour Energy
This project involved the relocation of 132kV transmission mains to assist with land development in the South West area.
The transmission lines were located in an existing easement, which ran through Catherine Park Estate subdivision in Oran Park.
Our company was contracted to remove twin structure 132kV powerlines. In doing these works we were required to build a temporary 132kV wood pole line diversion.
